This past week I stayed on the sunshine coast with my aunt and uncle. My uncle is a master gardener and I had the pleasure of assisting him throughout the week. What I found really inspired was that the projects did not take away from the natural beauty, only added to it. So often landscapers clean the pallet and create their own form of art… I believe gardens, like the Tofino Botanical, should just high-lite what’s already before us and add to it! Put a bench there, the trail around that bend, a platform here and a swing there. All to enjoy the beauty.
Back to the cougar… Yesterday my uncle and a friend were pulling my tail and said “look there’s a cougar!” I am quite gullible most the time and almost believed the house cat to be a small cougar… As i have never seen a cougar in the wild. Until this morning.
The universe is so funny… So obvious.. And not very random.
This morning on the way to the ferry at 530am, in the dark, driving fast down a steep hill a cougar jumped in front of our car. This cat could never be mistaken for a house cat..
As the cougar jumped in front our vision, mid-flight it turned it’s head and looked straight at the 3 of us…. what a beautiful moment! Time stopped! I can still see it’s face, unforgettable.
My uncle had only seen a cougar once, 15 years ago; our other friend and I had never.
What are the chances? Speaking and joking about it the day before and now nature shows it’s self. Cougar’s are the ones that see and so rairly reveal themselfs. Thank you cougar for gracing us with your presence.
It’s great how we manifest!
Today I will be very receptive to the universe’s messages and reminders!
